Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) at KEEN

At KEEN, we believe in bringing people together. We believe we have a responsibility as a family-owned, values-led company to work together to positively impact our employees, partners, fans, and community. While KEEN has always worked to be an inclusive brand for everyone, we acknowledge that we are in a traditionally monocultural industry and understand that to truly bring people together and create a diverse organization, we must advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

We’re committed to:

* Providing a safe and welcoming environment that embraces differences and the respectful open expression of ideas that are free from hateful, discriminatory, violent, or harassing behaviors or comments

* Ensuring that our policies, practices, and programs consider and seek to address societal inequities that disproportionately impact specific groups

* Utilizing our platform and resources to positively impact people throughout our community who have been underserved

* Cultivating a staff that reflects the communities we serve and an inclusive culture where multiple perspectives are valued and acted on

Through DEI training and education requirements, hiring and retention goals, and memberships with external organizations that promote DEI, we are constantly learning and unlearning to make a more inclusive workplace. We have employee affinity groups and other programs in place that ensure we are addressing inequalities internally and externally. Our self-governing and collectively run Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI) Working Group both advises KEEN leadership on how to embed DEI into our processes and designs and submits successful proposals that lead to changes throughout our organization. Our approach may change over time, but our commitment stays the same: we must advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
